Ross Malcolm

Ross Malcolm’s jewellery draws on his interest in ecology and sustainability.  His works shows a continual experimentation with form and media, most often working in recycled and non-conventional materials, particularly plastic.

Ross Malcolm completed a Bachelor of Visual Arts majoring in Jewellery at The Manukau Institute of Technology, Auckland, in 2004.  Ross has won a number of awards including Supreme Contemporary Award, National Jewellery Showcase, in 2007 and Overall Winner of the Molly Morpeth Canaday 3D Awards in 2006. His work was represented in the international touring exhibition ‘Wunderruma’, 2015.  Ross’ work is held in private collections overseas and in the collections of Te Papa Tongarewa The Museum of New Zealand and The Dowse Art Museum.
