Warwick Freeman’s emblematic jewellery pursues meaning. Throughout his career Freeman has never tired of exploring what it means to make jewellery in Aotearoa New Zealand.
This significant monograph features texts (English / German) by Geoff Chapple, Karl Chitham, Warwick Freeman, Petra Hölscher, Bronwyn Lloyd, Angelika Nollert and Kim Paton and is richly illustrated with new work imagery directed by Victoria McAdam and photographed by Sam Hartnett. Illustrations include several striking fold-out spreads showcasing Freeman’s iconic suites of emblems, described as Sentences. Published by arnoldsche Art Publishers and designed by Inhouse.
